1 pound scrubbed boiled potatoes (peeled or unpeeled)
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup bread crumbs
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 cup milk
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Slice potatoes thinly. Butter a 9 inch pie plate. Arrange a layer of potatoes, garlic slices, Garli Garni, cheese and slices of butter. Repeat using the rest of ingredients, reserving some cheese and butter. Heat milk and pour over potatoes. Top with bread crumbs and remaining cheese and butter. Bake for 1 hour until potatoes are tender and top is golden brown.
For variation, add wild mushrooms to the layers.
